It's not often that one gets to fly in the sky "like a bird" as our young animal-lover, Wesley put it. However, that is just what we did the last weekend in September when we took a ride on the chairlift to the t
op of Ragged Mountain at the Camden Snow Bowl. The foliage was just starting to turn so the colors were not at their peak, but it was still a breathtaking view of the mountains and islands of Penobsc
ot Bay. The ride to the top and back down again enchanted baby Preston who pointed at everything he could see. And Wesley took the opportunity at the top of the mountain to take on the persona of a, what else, a mountain lion, who chased us ab
out. We've been blessed with gorgeous weather and although we dressed warmer thinking the top of the mountain might prove chilly, we soon discovered it was completely unnecessary. In fact, when the sun peaked out from behind a cloud it was very warm. It was very peaceful atop the mountain, even with the many other families who took advantage of the opportunity.
