Visitors

We survived two weeks of family. They brought with them a tornado of chaos that swept through here creating a path of destruction that took a few days to clean up . . . but we wouldn't have it any other way. We were so excited to host Steve's younger sister, Aunt Vicki and Wesley & Preston's cousin, Aurora who were visiting from North Carolina. The boys were especially happy to have their cousin living so close-by. They stayed a week and a half and took advantage of many of the Midcoast's offerings. Overlapping their stay was Steve's older sister, Luann (Ute)and her friend, Matt who came for a week long visit. Luann is our most frequent visitor. I think there has only been one year since Steve and I settled in Maine that she did not come for a visit. It's always fun showing people around our beautiful area, whether it's their first time or their 8th. It allows us to take a step out of our lives and fully appreciate how blessed we are to live in such an amazing place. We often get to explore places we would otherwise forget about or places that we haven't seen for years (like when we visited the Portland Head Light with Ute & Matt. The last time we did that was the year Steve and I got engaged - 10 years ago.) We are looking forward to your next visits guys. Thanks for coming!
