The nicest thing about having our rental space is being able to use it for friends and family. We had the opportunity to do just that recently when Steve's sister, Aunt Luann (or Ute as she is called by Wesley) and her daughter, Lyssy, came for a v
isit on the 18th. We had just said goodbye to renters of two weeks and were very excited to have family for a visit. As luck would have it, we didn't have any interest in the week prior to Wesley's birthday, so it was really perfect timing. Because Ute and Lyssy are our most frequent visitors, we didn't feel the need to do much sightseeing. We spent most of our time close to home, visiting the beach, Cam
den, local restaurants, and our backyard. We had a wonderful campfire with live music (provided by Lyssy.) Our neighbor, Ken, invited us all over for a "wicked good" lobster feast (15 lobsters - yikes!) And Wesley got to have a number of sleepovers with his cousin, Lyssy - which he thoroughly enjoyed. I, of course, just loved having the extra help. Thanks, Lu! We only wish their visit could have lasted longer. Can't wait until the next time.
